The Captain's Ride is an annual 6-day, 800-900km fundraising cycling tour founded by former Australian cricket captain and Blooms The Chemist ambassador Steve Waugh, to support children with rare diseases. Featuring celebrity cyclists and community leaders, it raises funds for the Steve Waugh Foundation to support "orphans of the health system".

This video shows the highlights from one of the rides for which Blooms was a sponsor, and its impacts on the community and the children and families its intended to help - a story that demonstrates Blooms’ commitment as a community pharmacy to care and giving back.
